(English follows Japanese)
If I start a business in Rakugo world...
I have been interested in many kinds of business in Rakugo. Heroes and heroines in Rakugo stories are such as a shop owner and an employee, a Samurai warrior Lord and a subordinate, a carpenter, a doctor, a teacher, an Oiran, a Geisha, as well as a thief, though which isn't a job.
Some of the heroes are without an occupation, like an Inkyo (a retired person).
What kind of business is successful if I start a new one in Rakugo world? I don't wanna sell something. I don't prefer to exhaust all my energy to pull a rickshaw or row a boat. In fact, I like teaching something because it seems easy to me.
In Rakugo story called ”the secrets of a miser”, an old miser talks to a customer how to save money. This is a big hint!
Put in today's words, it would be similar to a ”financial consultant talk”.
After gathering many people, I teach them plausibly as following.
”At first, you should hang a big stone from your house ceiling and sit under it. You would sweat soon so that you shouldn't need any heating tools during the winter season.”
Wow, that is fantastic!
I hope any Rakugo storytellers like Yanagiya Kyotaro or Katsura Bunchin make a new type of ”the secrets of a miser”, of course, the hero is a ”financial consultant”, and perform it someday.
